Overview

Human existence has both natural and social attributes. The natural attribute is characterized by the will to live whereas the social attribute is for the benefits of individual, society and species.

Human existence is also both objective and subjective. The body exists objectively, but the thought is very much subjective. René Descartes famously stated “Cogito, ergo sum” (I think, therefore I am). Good and bad are all subjective concepts. In Western philosophy and religious thought, altruism is one of the pillar of the civilization. However, behaviors opposite to altruism are observed everywhere which is one of most important component of the conflicts within a civilized society, the objective good vs. the subjective evil.

Modern human express the natural and social attributes of the existence to the extreme. They are completely selfish while asking everyone else to do the god’s work. Therefore, we discovered with pity that altruism has not developed yet into wide spread human behavior.

On the other hand, we are also happy to see our civilization is evolving and the society is becoming more harmonious and kind. People are putting more emphasis into the social attribute of the human existence which lead to the emergence of great people and organizations. We established NEWe and SSMM with the hope for them to become this kind of organizations, not driven just by business, but more importantly, by a dream, the dream of a multi-dimensioned rainbow connecting the world.

Under this rainbow, people of the world can share lights, color and ideas. Under this rainbow, people can connect, appreciate and care for each other. This rainbow carries the hope of future for people all over the world, the people of China, Sweden, Singapore, Africa, US and more, so much more.

Although NEWs and SSMM are just two new ordinary companies, they did represent the efforts by many old friends worldwide. Although NEWe and SSMM are originated in Sweden, they did represent heritage and fusion of Chinese and Western culture.

“approachable, but not weak; strong, but not aggressive; principled, but not stubborn; honest, but not boring; genial, but not boasting; thoughtful, but not ambiguous and keep things to oneself”. These are some common traits of Swedish and Chinese values in dealing with people and life. We hope these will also be the principles for NEWe and SSMM.

The ship of NEWe and SSMM has set sail and our destinations are every ocean of the known world. We are going to spread the seeds of new technologies, bring hope of harmony and make our domain of business of ideals that belongs to us, and to the world.
